The only 24/7 deployed force, 6 SIR is a unit renowned for its courageous, strong and dedicated soldiers, ideally personified by the Spartans, the characters chosen to represent the unit. The Spartans was founded on 2 Apr 1968 and was based in Taman Jurong Camp and served under the command of 3 DIV and in the process building their reputation as tough and effective soldiers. In Jan 1995,6 SIR was placed under the command of HQ 10 SIB as part of 9 Division and the unit shifted to Selarang Camp. On 12 Jul 2004, the unit was transferred to the command of HQ 2 PDF and relocated to Maju Camp two months later. In Nov 2006, the unit officially turned operational, thus becoming the only Active Protection of Installation (POI) battalion in the army.

Bearing the motto of “Tough and Effective”, the Spartans strive to bring honour to the battalion. The unit is operationally ready and deployed 24/7. Indeed, it is well poised to rise up to all challenges.

Back from the past. My first and second medal I won in silat competition. On the right was my first one, which i won at Ngee Ann Poly 2005, and on the left was at Republic Poly. Both i got into second place. Haiz.. But its ok, its just a small competition.

This is what happen to me after the competition. This is the early stage, its just red normal swollen joint. But now its like blue black joint whenever i knock onto something. Look at my big toe, its tilted to the right a bit. Ligament and joint damaged, needs to rest at least 3 months.

Wassuup, external vein. 10cm needle was inserted into my hand, and i cant even open my hand too wide. Two packs of glucose was given to me, which makes you keep on going in and out of the toilet.

This is my meal. I only eat the soup.

2 bottles for gurgle, 3 packs of antibiotic, one bottle of inflamation pills, 1 pack of gastric pain, 6 packs of painkillers and 3 packs of lozenges.

12 pills i should take in. 8 inflamation pills, 2 painkillers, 1 gastric pill and 1 antibiotic.. Please dont try this at home.

This is the liquid type, mixed of the 12 pills above.

Wonder why there is a picture frame in the room, cause of the operation new method, i need to stay in 'A' class bed. Cool uh.

Thursday will be away from home for a night. Spend a night in the hospital. Having an operation that morning. Operating my tonsils on my throat, i've been warned by doctors everytime i had high fever. This thingy makes me so sick. I've been to OCH twice. first time i went in, the atmosphere was like in a new built building.

AAaarRRRrgGGhhHH....!!! Body in pain. Nose, Left nostril giving problem since yesterday, and now it bleeds. Cynus man, blocked the airways and sometime irritates then it started to bleed. And now i stuffed in a tissue in my nose, not only my nose is giving problem, on tuesday my left knee suddenly SNAP, when reaching home felt something wrong. Top of the knee cap is blue black, quickly iced it, alhamdulilah now its ok. My holidays for this week is damn "Woohoo"..

This is a real story spread among Singapore taxi drivers.It was about 7.30 pm in Chinese New Year’s eve. Taxi driver Ah Tan, a60-year-old man, lived in Bedok Reservoir Rd, was rushing back home tocelebrate the family dinner.
He happened to pass by a remote path somewhere near Punggol. That usedto be a farm village but has been deserted for a few years. There werealtogether four bus-stops along the roadside.
While he was driving along the path, he saw a young lady at the bus-stopflagging for his taxi. At first, he wanted to take the lady but he wasgoing to be late for his dinner. Being a person particular for punctuality,he decided not to take this customer. Then he carried on driving. To
his surprise, there was another lady flagging him down. This time hefelt familiar because she was wearing a red T-shirt and black skirt butdue to fading light, he could not see her face.
When he passed by the third bus-stop, he felt a bit of horror as anotherlady was flagging him again, in the same red and black clothes! Howwould a lady moves faster than the wheels? The distance between twostops is about 0.8 KM away! This time, he really felt horrible and steppedthe accelerator harder.When passing the fourth one, a lady charged at his car!
He was driving at least at the speed of 100 KM/H! The lady flew over hisvehicle and dropped inside a drain next to the bus-stop. Ah Tan cried outdue to extremely horror! The victim once again in red and black clothes.Ah Tan felt so bad and had no mood celebrating New Year.
Finally, he decided to report to the police. The body in red andblack skirt was found, it was a young Chinese lady aged between 20 to25 year old. Ah Tan’s horror got attested. The lady’s cause of deathis not by car accident but stabbed by sharp object! She had been deadfor about three days, the body already started to decay.
After the police statement, Ah Tan thought of the whole things had been over.Of course the police snickered at his initial statement and made him doanother ‘credible’ one.
One week later, Ah Tan’s horrible feeling had lessen. What a coincidence,he striked first prize 4-D for his taxi number plate. He won a big sumof money, he was so delighted in this, but unfortunately he fell downin the bath room and fractured his right arm. He was admitted to Changi hospital.
In the hospital, he started to have nightmare night after night. A young lady,in red and black skirt, kept calling him “Ah Peh, li di si lo lai?”(Uncle, whenare you coming down?). He really cannot tolerate to it anymore.
Moreover, the inflammation started on his wound. Luckily, one of hisfriend who is a Taoist priest suggested to give up his stake’s moneyinstead of plead for ’safety’. He told Ah Tan that the lady ghost isgnawed by serious grievances and has become a ferocious spirit.
Since she could not avenge the murderer due to some reasons, Ah Tanchosen to be the ’scapegoat’ for her rebirth’. The 4D winning stakeis to exchange for his life!
After a battle of mind, the lady still disturbed him in the meanwhile,with a shattered nerves he decided to give up his $100,000 to TheCharity Community Chest. Strange enough, he recovered from the illnessrapidly.
Everything seemed to be over, but a short period after his discharged,his wife striked 4-D again, the stake amount is also $100,000! This isbecause, one day, his wife went market and bought some vegetable, shesaw the wrapper was the used newspaper which reported the young lady’smurder case. Strangely, there was four numbers on it, and his wifebet on and striked. After a fierce argument between them, Ah Tan failedto convince his wife to donate the money. A deep worry began to burdenAh Tan when his wife started puzzle head and like to put on red T-shirtand black skirt. She seemed to go mad and the temper got hotter and hotter.
One morning, she suddenly told Ah Tan that the life is meaningless’.This time Ah Tan was decisive, he gave up all the money immediately. Hebrought his wife to the temple and asked the monks to release the young lady’ssouls from purgatory.
After this incident, he stop buying 4-D or involves in all kinds of gambling.Not long ago, he’d also gave up his taxi-license.

Bouncing MarblesI am a Singaporean. We live in flats. If you've never lived in flats (apartments), well let me tell you, it's quite noisy at times. Having neighbours all over the place. On top of you, below you and both sides of you. Ok, that is nothing peculiar but what I'm about to tell you is.
In the early mornings, around 2 or 3 am, I hear bouncing marbles above my apartment. That, to me, is strange. Which parents would allow their kids to play marbles at that hour? What is stranger is I'm not the only one who had experienced this. My friends have reported to hear the bouncing marbles too. So, what is this then? Is there some other explanation? I'm still perplexed.

Lost Soul at the Bus Stop There is a bus stop at Mount Vernon that I'm told is haunted. For non-Singapore residents, Mount Vernon is a road between two cemeteries. A Christian one, on one side, and a Muslim one, on the other.
Why I say it's haunted? Well, I've been in many taxis and when the drivers are talkative, they most likely will tell you this story when you ask them about ghostly encounters. They say, if you travel through mount Vernon Road between midnight and 4am - if you are lucky - you will see a beautiful young Malay mother with a baby in her arms.
One time, there was an ignorant taxi driver who happened to pick her up. She boarded the taxi and just pointed ahead without saying a word. So, the driver drove on ahead. After some minutes, he asked her where she wanted to go, but she just smiled and instructed him, with a hand gesture, to go straight ahead. Mount Vernon is a long stretched road and as the taxi approached the end of it, at the junction, he asked her, again, where exactly she wanted to go. She simply replied, "balik rumah"(going home). He was a little annoyed by her ambiguous reply and made his impatience felt with his next remark. He complaint. "Ya lah, lu mau balik rumah, mana lu punya rumah lu misti cakap lah, aiyah susah lah ini macam".(Yes, I know you want to go home but where the heck is your home? Gosh, you’re giving me a hard time!).
She was hurt and started sobbing. Feeling guilty, he apologised then asked her again, nicely that time, what her address was. She then asked to be taken back to the place she boarded his taxi.
The irate driver was furious and made an angry, sharp, U-turn and headed the other way back to the spot he picked her up from.
Busy nagging, he failed to realise that she was no longer seated in the back seat. When he did look in the mirror, he was horrified by her non-presence. Then, he smelt a sweet smelling scent of frangipani flower. (This flower is associated with death.) He was chilled to the bones with fear and sped off out of Mount Vernon Road all the way home. He never traveled along Mount Vernon Road after midnight anymore since the experience.
Other taxi drivers have also picked up the mother with a child but had different experiences with her. Some would realise immediately after she came aboard that she was a ghost, some would not even notice anything strange until they smelt a sweet scent – then on, a cool head is very necessary.

MRT Ghost stories. From someone.

Bishan Depot - Used to be a Chinese graveyard before they dug up the place to build apartment buildings and the first train depot.
The resident - The Pontianak. Maybe even two of them.
Seen by several of my uncle's colleagues countless times. She loves to scare the men there. Was once seen up close by one of the guys - he described her as ugly, wrinkly face with red eyes. A few of them took their naps at the office and were woken up by her. One of the guys felt and found long scratch marks on his back. On another occasion, one of the guys was washing his car outside the office when suddenly the doors closed on its own and the engine turned on and off. Other times, two of them were seen flying in circles above the roof of one of the buildings within the depot. Been told by a security guard across the depot that they've seen the same ghost at another building.

The pontianaks are not the only residents. Apparently, there's a shape-shifter too! It takes after the appearance of anyone who works there. Can even imitate the person's voice. This was experienced by my own cousin who was there on a short part-time job. As he was leaving at around 4am, he cycled toward the entrance of the depot. He saw one of the security guards cycling ahead of him. My cousin caught up with him, said hi, overtook the security guard and sped off. By the time my cousin got to the security post at the entrance, guess who was standing there? The SAME security guard who was cycling behind him!!! Till today, my cousin doesn't know which was human, which was the ghost... In a separate account, one of the guys was doing his work on the tracks and heard his name being called. He recognized the voice. It was one of his co-workers. So he walked toward the voice, but there was nobody there. He thought someone was playing a joke on him. Later he asked the co-worker if he called for him. The co-worker swore he wasn't even at that site!

Yishun station - There was a suicide committed just a week ago. So far, no stories yet. But...
The Resident - an apparition of a small boy, around 5-7 years of age.
Cousin was doing track maintenance after midnite with his team, then went to the ground floor to find some policemen asking if he saw a young boy wearing white garment playing on the platform. Cousin said nobody had been on the platform - everyone else were on the tracks. Policemen said, several people living in the apts around the station saw and made complaints. And that was not the first time.

Tracks between Yio Chu Kang and Khatib - the area around Lentor Ave.
The Resident - Pontianak.
Spotted sitting on the tracks while the guys were on the locomotive. Not once, but many times. Off duty, my uncle has seen her too while driving south... and so did the passengers in his car. She was standing on the road divider. Uncle said that policemen went up to the track maintenance people one nite, asking if they saw a woman crossing the road. They didn't, but they knew what it was all about. Seemed that motorcar drivers called the police to complain of a woman wearing white crossing the road, as though trying to commit suicide. The area is the same where a Mercedes car accidentally drove up onto the tracks a few years ago. A lot of people speculate that the driver possibly saw and tried to avoid her.

Tracks between Woodlands and Kranji - Known to the maintenance people as one of the places to avoid, or, quickly get the work done and get out ASAP due to supernatural beings present at that place. Possibly, the pontianak again.

Admiralty station -
The Resident - Pontianak.
This happened before the station was opened and running. One of the station managers just had his dinner and threw his unfinished dinner into the large garbage container just outside the station. A few minutes later, one of the guys saw a pontianak at the container going thru the garbage. They later found out what she was after - his unfinished dinner of some bloody pork.

Tanah Merah station - Night shift station officers have complained that they have seen a huge, dark being walk up and down the escalator after midnite. There's also another being always sitting on the platform. They said it looked like an old man wearing some white garment.

Changi/Tanah Merah depot -
The Resident - Toyol
Not sure what the actual name of the depot is, but, Uncle showed me a photocopied photo of little footprints on the wall. Footprints of the toyol. Apparently the toyol had stepped on some grease and then walked UP the wall!! Don't know if the workers there complained of missing money, iPods, etc.

Raffles Place station - Known only to insiders that there is an "old man" present at the ends of the platforms after midnite.

Newton station - Night shift station officer thot he saw a being with long hair at the restroom.

Novena station - Not as haunted as it was before, but they still get the chills every now and then. Back then, one of my aunt's friends took a photo while the train stopped at Novena. Guess what was behind the glass panel? A skeletal hand!!! They swore they didn't see it there and then, not till the film was developed. I got to see the photo, but didn't have a scanner back then - was soooo long ago! Yep, was authentic.

Till today, the train drivers still see supernatural beings on the tracks! Why do you think the North-East trains are automated and have no human drivers. Oh yea, I also heard that there were a few problems while building the station at Bidadari cemetery... I can't really recall, but according to my aunt's relative who was working on exhuming the remains at the cemetery, they found a couple of corpses that were still intact after hundreds of years in the ground! In this kind of weather, can't be mummified... And, several times, the crane that was to dig the soil, overturned. The crane operator fell sick after that incident.

Dinner for today, Mussel and Oyster with lemon, and some bruised beans.

Mouth wash with some fruits and baby tomatos.

And Dessert for today, as it is. Nahh.. Actually its much more than this, only that, I forgot to take the picture of it. Went to this food place called "Family International Buffet" at Tampines Mall LeveL 3. Its some sort like Seoul Garden, but this one doesn't need any cooking, much more expensive, $30 per person at least. The food are like 5 Stars hotel.

Star Wars Lego. Cute character, dimesionly lego, hooked hands, ball head, stone legs and same facial expressions. "And we are the Star Wars Lego"..

A pic of Obi Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul. Same height or same length as the laser beam weapon. I have this game on my psp, and it was damn cool. Same story parts, they are like making funny things, example like Chewbacca the bigfoot wears Star Trooper's helmet or even yoda wears it too.

Damn yoda, you look cool and high.
